Fortune Bend Ranch | Palo Pinto County, Texas | 2042+/- acres

The Fortune Bend Ranch in Palo Pinto County is a 2042-acre ranch sitting in the historic teardrop of the Brazos River known as Fortune Bend. This ranch is just 4 miles downstream of the dam at Possum Kingdom Lake. The 4.8 miles of river frontage are some of the most scenic parts of the Brazos River system in North Texas. This section of the river has several sets of small rapids and is generally wide with several very large deep pockets that have developed over the millennia by the confluence of creeks including the very notable Ioni Creek. Fishing is excellent in this area and numerous species of game and non-game fish make their home here. Stripers coming out of Possum Kingdom and released rainbow trout are even caught here. The terrain varies from the river bottom to rolling native prairie to over 475 feet of elevation change up Schoolhouse Mountain. All owned minerals will convey.

Native rolling land, river bottom, sloping hillsides, and scenic limestone hills with spectacular views. Over 475 feet of elevation change and Schoolhouse Mountain which can be seen from miles and miles away. Scattered to thick game cover includes elm, cedar, mesquite, live oak, pecan, and other native varieties. Cultivation fields for planting game food plots or coastal bermuda for cattle or hay production are scatted through the ranch. Fenced and cross-fenced with ponds scattered throughout and a multitude of locations for additional ponds.
